2 questions you should not be asking in 2019.

“What? Nokia is back?”. Well, they’ve been back for so long and has been releasing SO MANY great & affordable Android devices like the 7 Plus, 6.1 Plus, etc so if you are still not aware… you should totally go check them out.

“What’s this Nokia 8.1 all about”?. If you are asking this, it’s still OKAY as they are only releasing it on the 18th January 2019 but then again, since you are reading this article, that question is totally unnecessary as you will know everything about it as you scroll down.

The Nokia 8.1 is said to have extraordinary imaging capabilities with a 12MP main camera with ZEISS Optics along with a 1/2.55” super sensitive sensor with large 1.4 micron pixels for precise light capture. The built-in Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and superfast autofocus also help in eliminating hand-shakes when taking photos and videos.

Don’t worry. The 20MP adaptive front camera lets you capture the ultimate night-time selfie, as it enhances how much light it is able to capture by combining four pixels into one super pixel.

The Nokia 8.1 also comes with a 6.18” Full HD+ edge-to-edge display that supports HDR 10 with higher contrast, great clarity, and over a billion individual colours to ensure images remain accurate whether you’re in a dark room or bright sunlight.

This new Nokia smartphone is powered with Android 9 Pie (so you don’t have to complain on social media that your phone still has old OS) , which includes AI-powered features that make your device smarter and faster while also adapting to your behavior as you use it. The Adaptive Battery feature limits battery usage from apps you don’t use often, and App Actions predicts what you’re about to do so you can get to your next action quickly.

Additional specs below:
Chipset: Qualcomm Snapdragon 710
Storage: 64GB internal user memory with MicroSD card slot (up to 400GB support)

The Nokia 8.1 is available in Blue/Silver, starting from 18 January and will retail at a recommended price of RM1,699.
