Let me just say this.

Having the headphone jack on or off the iPhone 7 will not matter in the long run. People are forgetful. They won’t remember the jack anymore years down the road. Just like how we have forgotten about the CD-ROM drives, floppy drives and 30-pin adapter port on older iPhones.

jack

I have never charged my phone while listening to music with earphones plugged in.

Many are skeptical about this and complain that they can’t use their existing earphones. Well, albeit a little troublesome, Apple has included the ‘Lighting to 3.5mm Jack’ adapter in box. They know you need it. Hence they give it to you. But they really need to move on to create a new audio ecosystem that uses newer technology. If they don’t lead, who will?

Some even worry that they cannot charge the iPhone while listening to music. Well, from my own experience, I have never charged my phone while listening to music with earphones plugged in, cos when I’m on the go, I won’t be charging the phone and when I’m charging it, I’m most probably at home and listening to music on my computer or through my wireless speakers.

So yea. Jack off or not. It doesn’t matter. This is just my 2 cents. You may share yours in comments below. 🙂
