Just 4 days after the announcement of the global recall of the Galaxy Note7, Samsung Malaysia now announces details on how current owners of the device can get their Note7 replaced with a new one starting from 29th September 2016.


Replacement date: From 29th September 2016 onwards
Replacement Location: Customers may return their existing Galaxy Note7 and collect their new Galaxy Note7 at the place of purchase (original place of collection)
Replacement Time: 10.00am till 10.00pm
Replacement Conditions: Customers are required to bring the full box set including a charger and cable; headset and USB Connector

The global recall of Samsung’s latest flagship is believed to have cost them 1Billion USD, replacing the batteries for about 2.5 Million phones.
This is by far the boldest move any tech company has taken in recent years and is definitely a commendable one, especially when they act so quickly to recall and replace the devices within the shortest time possible.
